Every superhero movies (Both DC and Marvel) tend to leave Easter eggs in their movies. It is a treat for die-hard fans, although some who are not so familiar with the comics (like myself) tend to “huh?” when these scenes bust out because we totally have no idea what it is for.
In Batman v Superman for instance, one scene projects the Flash coming out of nowhere as if in Bruce Wayne’s dream. Now, for a non-DC reader it seems disorienting to have that shock (and I totally understand why the critics pan the movie out, sadly the public was swayed in the same opinion as BvS plummets in sales in the second week alone).
For this post I’d like to share some Easter eggs from the recently shown Marvel movie, Dr. Strange. For those who haven’t seen the movie yet I strongly advise that it is better you don’t watch the clip as it may ruin your viewing pleasure.
So did you miss anything? Special thanks to the Looper Youtube channel for those Easter eggs.
A line or dialogue of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) (spoken to Rey – played by Daisy Ridley) has leaked online, according to a YouTube video by Mike Zeroh.
This gives fans a glimpse (or a spoiler preview) of what will happen next on “Star Wars: Episode 8” at Ahch-To.
[Spoiler alert: Spoiler ahead!]
“You contain the spark that will rekindle the fire”
– is allegedly one of the lines spoken by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the upcoming Star Wars movie.
Apparently, Luke tells this to Rey on Ahch-To, as the young female character begins to discover and embrace her powers.
The next Star Wars film is expected to revolve around Rey’s training (under Luke) to become a Jedi.
According to Mike Zeroh, he has 4 different sources for this leaked information, 2 of whom he trusts, although the other 2 he is still currently evaluating. He however advises fans to take this information “with a grain of salt.”
Meanwhile, the Disney Star Wars production team, reportedly, is in the works with the first official trailer/ teaser ready to be released next year 2017.
It is about four months ago, the 360th series release that fans last heard or read the Hunter x hunter manga. And since then, fans have already been speculating that the series is either discontinued or cancelled.
Since the release of their smartphone game (Its available in Google Play, don’t know in the Apple store), fans has been kept in the dark about any news or updates from the well beloved manga/anime series. Rumors persists with the current artist, Yoshishiro Togashi with “Tokoyo Ghoul”. Apparently, the reason why the rumour circulated is because it is reported that the original author will no longer be able to return to work.
Shueisha Inc, however, believes the original writers to return to work immediately, But if they don’t, they’d be forced to hire new writers for the series so they can end it properly.
Yoshishiro Togashi, the creator of “Hunter x Hunter” supposedly had back problems and was bed ridden for the past couple of months. But he hasn’t reported to the manga series producers to continue “Hunter x Hunter” production since getting well, so this is why Shueisha is planning on get new writers.
Is there still hope for the series? Or is the series being cancelled? Are we still going to see, Gon, Killua and their friends in a new adventure? Stay tuned.
